In the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana we find the village of Caimari. It is a small village known for its quiet and relaxed atmosphere. This Mallorcan village is also associated with the production of olive oil, and therefore the cultivation of olives.
So for that reason some of the largest olive oil factories in Mallorca are located in Caimari, so don't hesitate to visit them during your holidays!
The Serra de Tramuntana, together with the beaches of Mallorca, is one of the most visited places on the island. Thanks to its beauty and the variety of activities and places to visit, it is one of the obligatory stops during your holidays in Mallorca.
Apart from hiding some of the most beautiful villages of the island, it has all kinds of cycling routes, excursions for hikers, unique natural hydrogeological phenomenon and landscapes that will leave you speechless.
Located in the municipality of Escorca, we find this unique and different beach in Mallorca. It is an exceptional place with two cliffs that rise next to the beach, creating a unique image. This scenario is caused by the fact that the river "Torrent de Paréis" flows into the sea at this point.
Next to this beach you will find a car park and different restaurants where you can enjoy typical Majorcan food.
Lluc is one of the most peaceful places in Mallorca. Situated at the top of the Serra de Tramuntana, you will find the beautiful monastery of Lluc. A place where you can go on all kinds of excursions and visit different places, such as the museum of Lluc or the beautiful botanical garden.
There is also a singing choir, known as els Blauets, who live and study in Lluc. You can hear them sing every day at 13:15h in the church of Lluc.
The Gorg Blau is one of the most unique landscapes in Mallorca. It is an artificial water reservoir located a few kilometres from the highest peak in Mallorca: Puig Major. It is a perfect place for hiking and where you can discover all the flora and fauna of Mallorca.
It is also located next to Cúber, another artificial reservoir, which between them supplies water to the city of Palma and different towns in Mallorca.
The Pla de Mallorca region is the entire central-northern area of the island. It receives this name because it is in the plain of the island, between the different mountains of Mallorca. It is the area that was formerly destined to produce a large part of Mallorca's fruit and vegetables.
Nowadays you will find beautiful villages where you can do all kinds of activities. You can enjoy visiting talaiotic villages, but also wine tasting.
